FAQs
Q – When I buy a SaSi, how is it packaged and what does it come with?
A – SaSi is presented in a beautiful discrete black box, which also contains a small display stand, an international charger, a carry pouch, the instruction manual and the 1 year limited warrantee card. If you order SaSi online, it will be delivered in a plain brown box with no external details apart from your address.
Q – My SaSi doesn’t respond when I turn it on, what should I do?
A – Firstly it’s worth checking that your SaSi is fully charged. Plug it in and leave it to charge for at least 1 hour 45 minutes. Then try turning it on by pressing and holding the centre button for 2 seconds. If that doesn’t work, it’s possible your SaSi has developed a fault and you should get in touch with the place you bought it from.
Every SaSi is covered by one year’s international warranty.
Q – I’m in Favourites mode and SaSi isn’t moving, even though the green light is on. What’s up?
A – When you’re in Favourites it’s possible to pause movement and just use vibration alone. So try pressing the middle button once to get the nub moving again.
If that doesn’t work, try charging your SaSi to reset the Favourites. If your SaSi still isn’t moving, leave it to run out of battery. Once the green light has gone off, plug the charger in and leave it for a couple of hours, then try again.
If the problem persists, get in touch with the retailer.
Q – I’m in Learn mode and the light is on but SaSi isn’t moving, what should I do?
A – There could be a couple of reasons why your SaSi isn’t moving.
You may have accidently locked it. Every SaSi includes a locking function for travel. If it’s locked, SaSi shows either a constant red light or a flashing red light, depending on the model. You can either reset SaSi by plugging in the charger, or unlock it by referring to the manual.
The other possibility is that the fail-safe mode has been triggered. This is used to save your settings when SaSi receives confusing instructions, for instance, if it’s accidentally activated in a bag or suitcase. Just plug in the charger to reset SaSi.
If neither of these options work, try leaving SaSi to run out of battery. Once the light has gone off, plug the charger in and leave it for a couple of hours, then try again.
If the problem persists, get in touch with the retailer.
Q – My SaSi gets hot when I use it. Is it ok to keep using it?
A – Yes, it’s fine. SaSi will get warm to the touch when you’re using it, but no warmer than a laptop once it’s been on for a while.
You can be sure that SaSi’s been fully tested for electrical compliance and there’s no risk involved in normal use.
Q – When I charge my SaSi for the recommended two hours, the green light doesn’t come on. Does that mean it hasn’t fully charged?
A – Not necessarily. Your SaSi’s charge sensor may have become confused but this won’t affect its performance as it will continue to charge correctly. Even though the green light doesn’t appear after 2 hours’ charging, you should still get 2 hours of use out of your SaSi.
If you feel this is affecting your enjoyment of SaSi, please do get in touch with the retailer.
